Eva Rabchevska


Eva Rabchevska has cancelled participation in JJV 2021.

Eva Rabchevska was born in Lviv, Ukraine and made her debut with Lviv Chamber orchestra at age of eight. Continuing her violin career she was always remarkable by her unique sense of musical phrasing and style, supported by her outstanding technique.

She regularly performes with numerous orchestras, including Slovak Radio Symphony, St. Petersburg Philharmonic, Kyiv Symphony, Lithuanian National and Belgian National Orchestras among others. Eva Rabchevska was gaining her artistic experience at several music festivals, such as Music Olympus (St. Petersburg), Encuentro Santander (Spain), Seiji Ozawa Academy (Switzerland) and (Japan).

She has won numerous awards such as 2nd Prize at the Carl Flesh International Violin competition (2013), 1st prize at the Lipinski-Wieniawski competition (2017), laureate prize of the Queen Elisabeth Competition (2019) and 2nd Prize of the International Jasha Heifetz Competition (2021).

She plays a 1740 Carlo Antonio Testore violin lent to her from the Walter Fischli Stiftung.
