Mathilde Milwidsky

Mathilde Milwidsky currently studies with Professor Mi-kyung Lee at the Hochschule für Musik und Theater München. Her debut CD of the previously unheard sonatas by Agnes Zimmermann was released with Toccata Classics in 2020 and she was subsequently named Classical Music Magazine's Artist of the Month.
She has been invited to festivals such as Verbier Academy (2021), Prussia Cove and Fränkische Musiktage, and has received recent praise from the Süddeutsche Zeitung – "The audience burst into spontaneous and repeated applause after the brilliantly played cadenza. And where could you hear a Larghetto played as divinely beautifully as by Milwidsky?"
Prizes include 3rd Prize Windsor Festival International String Competition, 1st Prize Royal Overseas League Competition, 1st Prize Aurora Competition (Sweden) and the St John's Smith Square Young Artist Scheme. Mathilde Milwidsky is a current scholarship-holder of the Deutsche Stiftung Musikleben, the Countess of Munster Musical Trust and Beare's International Violin Society.
