The Öschberghof Classic Series of the Resort “Der Öschberghof in Donaueschingen” fascinates its guests with top-class concerts and artists of international recognition. Under the direction of the world-famous pianist and music director of the Öschberghof Haiou Zhang, extraordinary concerts take place in the resort's own concert hall, the Beethovensaal. Guests can look forward to artists such as Sebastian Knauer, the vision string quartet, Helmut Deutsch, the Philharmonic String Quartet of the Berlin Philharmonic, Samuel Hasselhorn, Quatuor Diotima, Quatuor Hermès, Tianwa Yang but also interesting newcomers from the Öschberghof Piano Festival. The unique ambience of the Beethovensaal and the spectacular view of the surrounding area of the resort on the edge of the Black Forest result in the perfect symbiosis for a unique music experience. The music director Zhang performs internationally with well-known orchestras and conductors from all over the world and, as the founder of the International Music Festival IMF Buxtehude, Altes Land and Harburg, is a true master in acquiring artists and creating interesting music programs.
