G. Henle Verlag
The world's largest and most important Urtext catalog of music from the Baroque to the 20th century.
Founded by Günter Henle in 1948, G. Henle Verlag has stood for long-lasting music editions of the highest scientific and aesthetic quality for over 70 years.

The constantly growing and always scientifically up-to-date Urtext catalog of Henle contains well over 1,000 titles [from Froberger to Gershwin], including the essential violin repertoire (solo, duo, chamber music, concerts) from Albinoni to Ysaÿe. Recently, important teaching works have also been added to the program, such as the 42 solo etudes by Kreutzer or the 24 solo caprices by Rode.
For more than five years now, G. Henle Verlag has gained additional renown with its digital Henle Library App. This app now offers almost the entire Henle Urtext catalog in digital form, which, combined with many ur-digital possibilities, makes the musical text very successfully usable on the tablet.
For the Joseph Joachim Competition, G. Henle Verlag is offering prizes in the form of printed Urtext sheet music editions and App Credit Vouchers, with a total value of 3,750 euros.
