Concert in Wallenhorst-Rulle
Ruller Haus | 8.10.2021 | 8:00 p.m.
The Ruller Haus is a socio-cultural center in the pilgrimage village of Rulle, which belongs to the municipality of Wallenhorst in the Osnabrück region. As the owner of a historic building with a history of about 700 years, the association organizes a year-round cultural program with about 60 events (exhibitions, classical and folk concerts, readings, youth cultural programs, film and theater performances) with about 20 volunteers and three freelancers. The association has about 150 members and reaches an audience beyond the local borders.
The concert series of the house has several main focuses: Chamber music, which fits very well here because of the intimacy of the hall (about 85 seats), the excellent acoustics and not least because of an excellent Steinway grand piano, a podium for young talented musicians in the series "Auftakte“ (upbeats) and performance opportunities for local formations.
Even though Rulle is a very small town, two ARD prize winners have already performed here and a precious Stradivarius was even heard once.
