Jason Moon
Born 1999, USA
Jason Moon studied at the renowned Juilliard School with Li Lin and attended the San Francisco Conservatory of Music Pre-College Program with Wei He. He studied at the Colburn Conservatory under Martin Beaver until 2024.
Jason Moon gained extensive orchestral experience as concertmaster of the Colburn Orchestra and the Colburn Baroque Ensemble. He has also performed with the Juilliard Orchestra, the Mount Vernon Virtuosi and the San Francisco Symphony Youth Orchestra.
Moon has given numerous solo recitals, including appearances with the Colburn Orchestra, solo recitals at the Juilliard School and at the Vivace Music Festival. He has also performed as a soloist with renowned orchestras such as the San Francisco Symphony and the Peninsula Symphony.
His awards include first prize at the Hellam Young Artists' Competition and the Hennings-Fischer Young Artist Competition as well as first places at several international competitions.
